Lucas joined Vauban Infrastructure Partners’ New York office in 2022 as a Senior Associate. He focuses on U.S. investment execution and asset management, and supports on strategy development and origination. Lucas has deep experiencein energy transition principal investing, structured finance and M&A Previously, he was a Senior Associate at Captona, a middle market energy infrastructure private equity firm in New York City, where he acquired and financed the largest waste-to-natural gas plant in the U.S, among other deals in the renewables and clean fuels sectors. Before Captona, he spent several years on M&A and project finance teams at The AES Corporation (a leading global energy company), focusing on solar and battery storage investments. He has strong transactional experience working with infrastructure developers, independent power producers, utilities, and investors in the renewable energy, battery storage, and waste-to-value sectors.
