Investment Director - Partner

Maria combines skills in equity investment with experience of project finance advisory and debt arrangement. Within Vauban Infrastructure Partners, Maria is in charge of leading brownfield investment projects. Specifically, she has initiated and led deal origination efforts in Central and Northern Europe, as well as more generally in airports and the district heating sector. In addition to her investment role, Maria has worked on investor and regulatory reporting for the Funds, specifically related to Solvency II requirements. She has also participated in the development of Vauban Infrastructure Partners' position within the European Commission’s working group ‘Experts in Infrastructure’. Before joining Vauban Infrastructure Partners, Maria spent seven years in the Project Finance team and Capital Markets Securitisation Division at Natixis CIB in Paris, where she worked on all aspects of origination, advisory, structuring and arranging limited recourse infrastructure financings.

Maria is the Investment Director at Vauban Infrastructure Partners, and has been involved in the origination, negotiation and execution of equity investments for Vauban Infrastructure Partners' CIF and FIDEPPP2 Funds. With 24 years’ experience in infrastructure project financing and capital markets, Maria has developed solid expertise and a strong track record in the infrastructure market.

Maria holds a Master degree/DESS in Finance from Sciences-Po Paris. She also holds an MBA from both London Business School and New York University.
